The best thing about Caribbean food is that it’s so versatile. Not only can you modify the spice levels with ease, a lot of our recipes easily accept flour substitutes like almond meal as well. As a dairy and gluten-free foodie, this means that I’m still able to enjoy the tastes and textures of the Jamaican staples I grew up with even though my eating habits have changed over the years.
