Gear Up for Game day with Bacon & Buffalo Chicken Dip

The Big one. The Superbowl. Families, Friends and Frienemies all alike will gather on a Sunday afternoon to celebrate Superbowl Sunday. This is one of the largest sporting events in the United States. So you know food will be had. Not just any food, but a measure of greatness! I tend to serve a variety of dishes for my guests, so there are tons of options to choose from. There will something for everyone! One of the most requested recipes is My Bacon and Buffalo Chicken Dip. Spicy. Creamy. Addictive.  It came out of a my need to serve Red and Gold foods on game day for my 49er loving husband. Bacon & Buffalo Chicken Dip


A life hack recipe. Spicy Chicken dip with cayenne pepper sauce. Bacon adds a nice, salty kick!
  1. 2 and 1/2 Cups of Shredded Chicken
  2. 1 Cup of Peppercorn Ranch Dressing
  3. 1/2 cup of Buffalo Wing or Cayenne Sauce
  4. 4 Strips of cooked bacon Diced
  5. 1 block of softened Cream Cheese
  1. In a large, warmed, heavy bottomed pan combine Chicken, Peppercorn Ranch Dressing, and Wing Sauce
  2. Stir to combine.
  3. Add 1 softened Cream Cheese.
  4. Stir thoroughly and combine well.
  5. Using one half of the diced bacon strips, stir into the buffalo dip
  6. Cook on Medium Low Heat until piping hot and cream cheese is melted. Around 35 minutes.
  7. Just before serving, top dip with the remaining diced bacon.
  8. Serve hot with chips and sliced vegetables like celery, carrots and peppers.
