A staple condiment in Washington, DC, Mumbo sauce is a bright orange sauce that's famous for its sweet, spicy, and savoury flavour. It's extremely versatile and used on everything from chicken wings to fried rice.

This is my take on the classic recipe. I love it poured over chicken tenders and fries. Try it tonight - you won't regret it.

Ingredients

 10 oz Ketchup
4 oz Hot Sauce (Frank's or equivalent)
 4 oz Pineapple juice
 2 oz White vinegar
 1 tbsp Smoked paprika
 ½ cup Brown sugar

Directions

1

Add the first six ingredients to a pot. Simmer the mixture on the stove on medium low heat.

2

Once heated up, whisk in the brown sugar. Whisk it thoroughly until mixture thickens.

3

Continue to simmer on low heat for 10-15 minutes until well combined.

Enjoy poured over fried chicken, chicken wings/tenders, fries, fried rice, and anything else you can think of!
